A huge congratulations to the ABC delegation for their outstanding performance at the World Robot Olympiad (WRO) on 29th of August! Competing across both the RoboMission and Future Innovators categories, 7 dedicated teams represented our community with extraordinary skill, drive, and creativity.
The Future Innovator presentations were exceptionally thoughtful, taking on the ambitious challenge of this year’s theme: Robots Meet Culture. Our young engineers tackled real-world challenges across the theme’s three core focus areas:
- Area 1: Protecting, Preserving & Sharing Cultural Heritage
- Area 2: Co-Creation: Humans, Robots & AI
- Area 3: Experiencing Art and History with Robots

During all the months of preparation as well as on competition day, the character of our students shone bright. Navigating high-pressure judging rounds and unpredictable robot runs required immense tenacity and resilience. When hardware needed last-minute adjustments or code required live troubleshooting, our young engineers met every challenge head-on.
Equally commendable was their commitment to competitive ethics and fair play. Beyond scores and awards, every participant proved to be an exemplary team player—supporting one another through every hurdle, communicating clearly, and celebrating each other's success as a united delegation.
We are immensely proud of what all 7 teams accomplished on the 29th of August. You have shown how robotics can beautifully bridge technology with human expression and cultural heritage—keep pushing boundaries and inspiring us all!
